That's the thing: The goal is not exactly "to infect other cells": You can
finish a level with neutral cells still to be infected. The goal is subtlety
different: "To infect -your adversaries'- cells", which is "to become the
dominant species".
That is to say that the game focuses more on the battle between viruses, not on
infecting per se. A game about infecting per se could have levels that are
around breaching what barriers one cell has in order to infect it.
Phage Wars overlooks the infecting process, which is okay, because that's not
the game's focus. The infecting process can be a game on it's own, which is
what I belive we're aiming for and what I think that the references I brought
illustrate.

In my opinion, what the Phage Wars gameplay has to offer is already implemented
in H4ck 1t: The idea of infectious territorial domination. The only thing that
might be missing is the whole "what to do with the infected websites?" thing,
but that's another story. But, anyway, yeah, I belive that Phage Wars has
already fufilled it's purpose with us, that's why I don't think that it may be
appropriate to the hacking minigame.
