Yup - I've been following the evolution of Verdonia. I'm a fan of strategy game myself, and I really hope we'll find out some day that everyone loves strategy. :D Here, for Verdonia, the huge increase of players over the last month feels like a massive advertising or cross-promotion campaign. And the fact that they are bleeding out players shows IMHO that they can't sustain it. I think the audience of those games, when it's not artificially boosted by ads, is more alike what we see on Evony. 600-800K players is definitely not ridiculous, but if you compare market leaders in terms of genres, it's still only 1% of the audience of Farmville.
