Agreed. That's what's most important about a given job/work/task - what
you learn from it. Even if we'll have to balance the costs, that's
really something to encourage whenever possible - great initiative

Would be a good way to approach this yep. Also, because Deborah is going
to get this *instead* of being paid, it would be a good opportunity to
also put in place the development bonus. I don't remember the % we
discussed for bonuses, but if Deborah gets objectives for her work (for
example within the next 6 months) and fullfill them, it would pay for
that extra % of her courses, in addition to the price for the work she
would actually have performed by then.
