I had a quick look, and it seems good. MVC and object-orientation are
definitely good choices here. The only question I have is about unit
tests - I didn't see any part of the framework dedicated to that, how
would you handle it?

The MVC model addresses this issue quite nicely - as long as we don't
end up having SQL requests outside of models, I'm quite fine with it.
