Yes, that's good - given the general state of the project, I was afraid
this would actually be more difficult. But let's see how it goes - the
real test is to get a first patch accepted, and then to get help to
solve some of the issues.

Yep - they have probably already fixed some of the issues you had, so
it's worth seeing how it goes.

Not yet - the first step once you have installed it is to make a list of
the remaining issues you have, and compare it to their list.

a) If some the issues we have is also on their list, it's good: we can
discuss the status with them, and eventually propose to fix them if
nobody on their side is already taking care of them.

b) If some of the issues aren't on their list, we'll then need to
confirm whether it's a bug, or just a local issue on our side.

Yes, it's tricky. : ) That's actually a good reminder of why it's
important to make a good assessment of the quantity of work for a given
task before accepting it, otherwise you end up working more time on it
than planned... :/ This is especially true when we integrate new libs or
projects, it's always good to at least quickly install and try it.

But here it will really depend on the amount of work there is on AjaxIM.
If it's very small it won't be an issue, if it's big, even if the
integration of AjaxIM is part of the alpha1.2, it wouldn't be fair for
you to include everything in the alpha1.2 release - we can then see how
to split it in future releases.

Xavier.
