long time lurker here...

my personal thought is that you choose a location as convenient as the
budget allows...  for those of us who rely on public transportation (and in
fact we all should use public transport)...  it does not make sense if the
place is too far...  yes  some people will want to overnight.. that is lots
of fun for some... but for others it makes more sense to join in for 5 or 6
hours then go off to take care of other things...

I do not know the profile of the attendees of the last barcamp at Chula...
but surely it seems that  was a location that was fairly accessible to
all...  might be that the central location meant many more people could make
it there over an inaccessible location...

being that I live 150km out of Bangkok on the eastern seaboard I know that
my personal ability to make it will depend on it being in a location that
doesn't eat up all my time... there is nothing worse than being stuck in
traffic for endless hours...

just my 2 baht here..
