So we have to choose -- 'easy to go' or 'stay overnight'. No one suggests a place that qualifies both requirements at the same time. Remember that we "NEED" alcohols too. :D
Another way to get more choices is to think of the places with cost, for example, hotels, guest houses, someones' offices, etc. But there is still problems about accommodation's cost for 300-500 people which could be reduced if no one wants to sleep at all or can sleep in sleeping bag at the same rooms we have the conferences. So people who wants to stay overnight can stay there, and the ones who want to go back home can go easily. (If this place is in the center of town and we have enough money.) But I think it is still hard to find a place like this as the offices or hotels (they don't allow us to stay overnight in the rooms) or even guest houses (that can have 300-500 people stay in the same one.) So if some of you read the upper paragraph and can think of the place with those requirements, please inform. No need to worry about cost, we have to talk about it for sure. 555 But my suggestion is this : - If you want more people to join barcamp, find a place that can go easily. This will make people know more about the camps and our community. - If you want less people with closer relationship, stay overnight. This will let us to get to know more about each others. That's all. By the way, we don't have just 2 barcamps. What we don't do in this time may be done in next time. So please try to discuss harder. We need brainstorming. :D And KU guys, I still want to hear more about the feasibility of using KU. :D On Jan 12, 12:47 am, "J.
