The version I was directed to via the download button (on "http://www.bareos.org/en/download.html";) was:
bareos_64_bit_nightly.x86_64-2014.04.0104.preload.iso I would be more than happy to use a stable build but I specifically wanted the preload ISO so I could tinker with it and understand a bit more before I put in the configs for the tape library. sudo /usr/sbin/bareos-dir -t states that it was unable to connect to the PostgreSQL database (Database=bareos User=bareos) ps -aux|grep postgres confirms postgres running. I am not much of a Linux wizard but I am trying to use it more and more. sing out if there is any more information I need to source for you.
