Hi! I have a single tape drive, no autoloader. I want to backup files to tape with bareos. What happens when the tape is full? Will bareos just wait for me to insert the next tape? Is there any further manual work to be done?
I read about some people faking an autoloader with a script - they get an email when the tape is full and then just insert the next. I don't necessarily need the email, but I want a smooth backup process without entering any commands (the docs say "If you do not have it [an autoloader] configured, you can manually issue the appropriate mtx command, or press the autochanger buttons to change the tape when requested to do so."). How should I proceed? Regards Paul -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "bareos-users" group.
