In the default configuration, Bareos will check every "Volume Poll Interval" (usually 5 Minutes) if a volume has been changed. This means that you do not have to tell bareos that the tape was changed, it will automatically detect that and go on with the backup.n This is very useful, especially if you have somebody to change the tape that does not have any access to the bconsole.
