We are working off our asses and your claim is not really confirmed by the facts:
https://www.openhub.net/p/bareos High activity is not something a lot of project have. As to pending releases there is always the experimental release which has all the new stuff and is most of the time as stable as the real "stable" release which is more for our professional customers who do not want to be on experimental code. So if you want to see the roadmap you can look at the experimental repo which shows all stuff under 14.4/15.1/15.2 - https://github.com/bareos/bareos And then we have: - https://github.com/bareos/bareos-vmware - https://github.com/bareos/bareos-webui Other then that without much external contributions things kind of are decided by paying customers and own interest. Also people have their right on vacation and July is kind of a vacation month. In a week time most people are back from vacation so things in the pipeline will start flowing out again. > > PS. And it's not helping that last official release for Bacula was 11 moths ago, what's going on? :-) You honestly expect an answer on that ... We are lining up for the OSBCONF (www.osbconf.org) in September and we are then releasing a 15.2 release probably a beta even before that. If you look here: https://github.com/bareos/bareos/compare/bareos-14.2 You will see that 14.2 and 15.2 will we hugely different. -- Marco van Wieringen [email protected] Bareos GmbH & Co.
