Hello John, Bareos 15.2 is stable. The bareos.org/bareos.com versions for Debian 8 also include bareos-storage-glusterfs (backup to glusterfs) and bareos-filedaemon-glusterfs-plugin (backup of glusterfs).
The debian.org version has some limitations, see http://doc.bareos.org/master/html/bareos-manual-main-reference.html#Debian.org/UbuntuUniverse Instead of using the version of http://download.bareos.org, you might also consider the maintenance versions from http://bareos.com, see http://doc.bareos.org/master/html/bareos-manual-main-reference.html#ReleaseNotes regards, Jörg Am 07.02.2016 um 21:06 schrieb John Naggets: > Debian 8 has bareos version 14.2.1 from 2014 included within its > official package repository and I was wondering if you would better > recommend using version 15.2 from your own bareos package repository > instead?
