Hello, I am currently testing Bareos on Debian 8 with GlusterFS as storage and have a few questions, mostly regarding the default/sample config:
1) Adding new clients (FD) is just a matter of adding a new Job and Client in the director config on the server-side, is this correct? 2) Any reasons why there are no backups on Sunday in the WeeklyCycle Schedule? Is it in order to give enough time for the Full or Differential backups on Saturday which might take longer than 24 hours in case of many clients and/or data? 3) What "Maximum Volume Bytes" in the Pool config would you recommend for backing around 20 VPS for the Full, Differential and Incremental Pools? I have the feeling that 50G, 10G and 1G respectively is not enough or I will end up with many files. 4) Is it OK for have all clients saved in the same Pools? or is it better to have on pool or three pools (Full,Diff,Inc) per client ? 5) Any other hints/optimizations I should care about when adding many clients?
