Hello,

I try to configure a schedule, which runs in 8 week cycles.

pool "week1" w01/w08
pool "week2" w02/w08
..
pool "week8" w08/w08

As I (now) understand and interprete (now) the manual this will backup
w00, w08, w16 and so on in pool week1
w01, w09, w17 and so on in pool week2
..

by w00, w01, w02 bareos thinks in ISO depended specified No. of week of the
year. As you can extrapolate there will be a week w52 which goes onto pool
week4.

What I would like to have is, that then the new week 1 (w00) of the next year
will be stored in pool week5.

id est, I'd like to have a real 8week cycle totally independed from any ISO
spec of "date". I do not wanna think in "date" - specific terms.

In all schedules configuration I got to know besides bareos, this can be done
by provide a start date and configure a weekly cycle (e.g. windows scheduled
tasks, cognos scheduler, other backup system e.g like Veritas, SEP Sesam).

How can this be done in Bareos ?

Can someone give me a hint ?

Best Regards,
A.Emm
