To overcome this behavior, you can compile the Bareos Director with the
experimental database connection spooling functionality (configure
...--enable-sql-pooling) . However, I fear, there are reasons, why this
is disabled by default, marked as experimental and not for productive
use and also not enabled in the default Bareos packages. If you got a
system to test it, you can give it a try.
