Yes absolutely, with a too big number of volumes it start to be really hard to
have a mental representation about what is on what and where.
If you decide to change your volume size, think to update the already written
with the command update volume (see doc for details)

Do you know what a good typical size for a disk based volume should be?
Should I try to size my volume so that each incremental backup will fit
in one volume?
