when I performed "apt update && apt upgrade" today (of course before(!) I read your message...), I got these messages:

dbconfig-common: bareos-database-common configure: ignoring errors from here forwards

Are these messages related to the bug you mentioned? Is there any possibility to repair it?

Hi Everybody,
we have a bad bug in 19.2.4[1]. Due to this it is currently not possible
to upgrade your PostgreSQL catalog with the supplied scripts.
Philipp added commit 40f7e9b[2] that reduces the amount of text that is
output during installation and upgrade. That patch included this bug as
a regression.
You current options are:
- install 19.2.4~rc1 and then upgrade to 19.2.4
- apply the changes in PR #405 [2] to work around the issue
- wait to 19.2.5 to appear in the repositories
We will release 19.2.5 shortly and will provide binary packages for
19.2.5 on download.bareos.org and download.bareos.com.
