Hi John,

Thanks for your testing and feedback.  You can setup udev or hotplug
rules, depending on your system, to change the permissions of the
devices so you don't need to be root.

The latest CVS has the proper udev rules in the udev/ directory, if you
want a starting point.  Also, the binary packages should set this up
for you automatically.

As for the icon, I assume this is in the device itself.  I don't believe
bcharge has any control over whether it charges or not... only how
much power it will draw.  If you let the battery drain a bit, does
it recharge again as expected?
