Not yet, unfortunately. You mentioned that you compiled your own kernel
on Ubuntu and the problem went away. Does this fix things for Fedora 7
as well?
If you have a working and nonworking kernel, please try to log the
difference in behaviour with the following:
Turn on usbfs_snoop:
echo Y > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/usbfs_snoop
Run bcharge.
Look in /var/log/kern.log (or appropriate syslog logfile) for the USB
traffic messages.
Do this on both kernels and post them to the list. Hopefully there will
be a difference that will prove enlightening.
