This is off topic but I too am interested. I have used this client and have 
been pretty happy although I have the pearl which is pretty small and probably 
not that fast at typing to begin with. To run programs or be s remote for my 
music it doesn't have to be that fast.

 I've been using it for about a year. I find that it is really slow. I can type 
way ahead of the latency by several characters and I'm not a fast bb typer. My 
beefs are that its user interface is not very BB like. Pressing "Enter" on the 
password prompt should send the login. I think it should start in "typing" mode 
and I find the cursors don't work as expected. Left cursor often results in 
going left two positions. It would be nice if there were decent keyboard 
alternatives to esc, tab and ctrl.
 
 Still I'm glad I have it, but it's something that is only useful when no other
