I am compiling CVS version on Feisty, I had only one problem with autoconf (it is available in 2 versions on feisty. one does not work properly with barry). Should work on edgy as well. When you download CVS tree you have to do ./buildgen.sh ./configure You have to run this commands in barry main directory and if you want to include them also in gui and opensync-plugin. Then run: dpkg-buildpackage This will create nice .deb files, so you can simply remove package/replace with other version (ie. in case of problems with new builds) This does not work for opensync-plugin, so if you want o use it you have to do make/make install manually inside opensync-plugin dir. Hope this helps. -- Regards Jacek Nykis ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
