Right, I wouldn't expect you to upstream that. It's just a hack for my
particular circumstance (we're about to ship RC2 :>)

synce may get it solved soon, in which case I'd revert it and adopt the
synce patch instead.

Nah, remember, I'm not a hacker. I just test stuff manually. Plug in
Blackberry, plug in WM phone, run Kitchensync, create sync group, pull
the big lever, see what happens. :)

Yes, it is. Our build isn't related to yours, I haven't actually looked
at your spec but I expect they might be quite different in places. On
Mandriva, the subpackages are:

barry-charge
barry-gui
barry-opensync
barry-ppp
barry-tools
libbarry-devel
libbarry0

If you're interested, the current Mandriva spec can always be found in
