Right, I wouldn't expect you to upstream that. It's just a hack for my particular circumstance (we're about to ship RC2 :>) synce may get it solved soon, in which case I'd revert it and adopt the synce patch instead. > If you write any tests for your Blackberry, please do sent them as patches. > I have a dream of a test suite that works with real data (see the TODO > file), and help on that would be great. Plug in Blackberry, plug in WM phone, run Kitchensync, create sync group, pull the big lever, see what happens. :) > > Also, the PPP scripts are now installed to appropriate locations; you > > should be able to just install barry-ppp, plug in your Blackberry, do > > 'pppd call barry-verizon' (or whatever) and watch the connection come > > up. Our build isn't related to yours, I haven't actually looked at your spec but I expect they might be quite different in places. On Mandriva, the subpackages are: barry-charge barry-gui barry-opensync barry-ppp barry-tools libbarry-devel libbarry0 If you're interested, the current Mandriva spec can always be found in our SVN: http://svn.mandriva.com/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/packages/cooker/barry/current/SPECS/barry.spec?view=markup > But as far as dependencies go, all you need for modem support is the > runtime libbarry0 library, the pppob program, pppd, and the scripts, > so you're correct. Indeed, that's all it contains (pppob, the scripts, and the docs). -- adamw ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Barry-devel mailing list Barry-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/barry-devel
