I think that you should now rename the directory opensync-plugin to
opensync-plugin-0.22 ; and add a new directory opensync-plugin-0.4x

[nico...@dahlia barry]$ tree -d
18:57
.
|-- contrib
|-- data
|-- debian
|-- doc
|-- examples
|-- gui
|-- hal
|-- hotplug
|-- m4
|-- maintainer
|-- man
|-- modprobe
|-- opensync-plugin-0.22
|-- opensync-plugin-0.4x
|-- ppp
|-- rpm
|-- src
|-- test
|-- tools
`-- udev

This last directory couldn't build...

The user should be do :
./configure --enable-gui --enable-opensync
to use 0.22
or
./configure --enable-gui --enable-opensync-experimental
to use 0.4x

Like --enable-fuse :)

I have to find the time to make tests...

It's with pleasure :)
