  Though this list is all things Barry, and I'm struggling to build it
on my laptop. I'd like suggest a much simple solution - Google Sync,
which will sync both your calendar and contacts, and with a backup in
the cloud. And you can sync your laptop with the cloud. Though a
Google account needed.
  I sync it seamlessly even on my very oldy BlackBerry 7100.
