Hmmmm.... can you post the output of the tar-prepare.sh line only? If you're getting an AM_ICONV error like in the previous email, then autoconf or one of its friends is not generating configure correctly. It is odd that running ./buildgen.sh a second time (tar-prepare.sh runs it once) fixes the issue.
