Hi,

I would agree to run the modemtest.rb program and post the results.
Also, edit the 'pty "/usr/sbin/pppob"' line in /etc/ppp/peers/barry-chinamobile
to use:

        pty "/usr/sbin pppob -vl /tmp/pppob.log"

And post the log file.
