Thanks for the feedback Ryan! That's odd though, because I recently tested the binary packaging and charging myself on the latest Ubuntu and Fedora.
I did find that on Ubuntu, if I recall correctly, that copying the rules in wouldn't work right away. I'd either have to reboot or restart udev. I assume it's a new bug in udev, but not sure.
