This line is something to investigate. Normally the Blackberry does not
ask for 500mA until it is triggered to do so, either with the bcharge
program (which you moved out of the way with the mv command) or
via the berry_charge kernel module.
Since you moved bcharge, check to make sure the berry_charge module
is not doing anything:
lsmod | grep berry
Note the different spelling of "berry" for the kernel module.
