I tried both, and only the latest worked, i.e., BaseX901-20180411.084824.exe
I guess my question could be reformulated as follows: why isn't the version in /releases/latest/ [1] the same one as the one you download when you click "download" on the website [2]? Said otherwise, why doesn't the download page refer to the latest release? Are releases in [1] perhaps developer snapshots rather than actual product releases? In addition, what is the difference between latest/ and the BaseX-latest.* files? Thanks [1] http://files.basex.org/releases/latest/ [2] http://basex.org/download/ leading to http://files.basex.org/releases/9.0/BaseX90.exe -----Original Message----- From: Christian Grün [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: vrijdag 13 april 2018 12:16 To: Bram Vanroy <[email protected]> Cc: BaseX <[email protected]> Subject: Re: [basex-talk] FW: Java 9 and BaseX 9 Hi Bram, Did you download the "latest developer snapshot" or the official 9.0 release?
