SiliCon has lowered their membership rates for 2006. Take a look:

The theme for SiliCon 2006 is Comics On and Off the Page, and two
special guests have been lined up already:
* Underground Comic Artist Mark Bode
* Writer/Author Steve Englehart
with information about both of them on the website. Our convention
co-chairs, Chris Knight and Grant West, are pretty excited about
getting these two comic book names to come to SiliCon.
Also new on the website is a Publicity Suggestion Form. Like most
conventions, SiliCon is looking to get the word out to more people and
places. So, if we missed one of your favorite haunts or resources,
please fill out the form and let us know.
We also have need for staff - not all positions are filled. In
addition, we have two new positions that we would like to fill:
* Press Liaison
Make contacts and build working relationships with print, online,
and broadcast journalists before and during SiliCon.
* Marketing
A "go-getter" who not only comes up with ideas, but also has the
ability to follow through on them.
