Quoting Dire Red ([EMAIL PROTECTED]): > I don't recommend picking based on price.
You probably saw this comment coming, but I'm posting it for others' benefit: The results of so many people picking registrars based solely on price is an often gruesome example of Moen's Law of Bicycles (http://linuxmafia.com/~rick/lexicon.html#moenslaw-bicycles). When customers understand a product or service only very poorly, they tend to choose based on the only factor they fully understand: price. This drives down the overall quality of products or services offered throughout that industry, through market dynamics, as an indirect result of the pervasive race for bottom dollar. > I'd go with Domain Direct, which charges $14.99 per year (with > discounts for multi-year). > https://www.domaindirect.com/cgi-bin/cpanel.cgi Which is a division of Tucows, I notice. They could do a whole lot worse.
