Reviews:
Dave G reviewed Kelly Freas's funeral as there were a lot of half
couples there [the other halves being at the Mason funeral], that it was
damp (raining in biblical proportions) & rated the storms in SoCal as
adventuresome and that many drivers there were sane
Ed reviewed Brin's 'Uplift' series as he enjoyed the heck out of it;
reviewed 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' as they could've done it
better, but he enjoyed it & he REALLY is in favor of the SF book club
Dave G follow-on'd, reminding us that Dave C sells books too
Debbie Stanley reviewed 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' as she thought
it was very good - better than the books - and to stay to watch all the
credits
Nathan reviewed the SJ Museum of Art as it's full of lots of excellent
art & worth double full price [free]
Kevin reviewed the KQED showing of 'It's a Mad, Mad Mad Mad World' as
well done with a truly funny plot and recommends viewing it -- then
Nathan follow-on'd, showing that he is a TRUE fan
We auctioned off stuff = a video for $1.00
We adjourned at = 9:00 pm
And the rumor of the week was ‘that when Chris Garcia isn't here
EVERYONE wants him'
