BASFAns,
Hello from New York! Time has really flown while Ive
been on the East Coast. I still get the emailed
updates from the weekly meetings (thanks, Barbara!
Youre very awesome), and it makes me miss all of you
guys so much. Im glad, though, to hear every week
from you makes me feel like Im still close to home.
As some of you might know, Im no longer working
autographs at Interaction. Kelly Green has been able
to take that over, and Im sure shes going to do an
awesome job. I wish I could come back for the Baycon
party, but my West Coast fannish activities have been
severely curtailed since Ive been here. J
Now for some serious news. As some people might have
guessed, Frank and I have had some problems in our
relationship, and its been decided that were going
to get a divorce in the near future. We both feel
that its too bad things didnt work out, but our
lives have been enriched by the experience. Due to
the circumstances, Ill be permanently residing in NY
but I hope to see everyone during the winter
holidays! Ill be visiting during Christmas, and I
really value your friendships and want to stay in
close touch with everyone at BASFA.
As to the good news Im currently working on a
script for a sci-fi film (probably low-budget). Ill
let you know when its coming out (probably a long
while from now).
Best,
Alison
