Hello Everyone:
It is with great pleasure that I get to announce that SiliCon, a San
Francisco Bay Area media-oriented science fiction and science fantasy
convention happening October 7-9, 2005, will have two masquerade
photography areas.
Fan Photo will be run by Danny Low, an excellent local photographer who
has been an active fannish photographer for many years. Other
photographers will be able to take photos of masquerade contestants
after they come off the stage.
Studio Photo will be run by Richard Mann, another excellent local
photographer who was at CostumeCon 23 in Ogden, Utah. The studio photo
area is expected to be setup in the masquerade green room, like at
WorldCons and Costume Con. Costumers have seen his photos published on
his website.
SiliCon is very pleased that both gentlemen have agreed to do these
photo areas. Please distribute this information to appropriate lists
and groups.
