It seems to me that there was some confusion between the day shift and the night shift. They claimed that they didn't have a telephone number at which to contact us to discuss meeting arrangements.
But FWIW, we have these issues now and then with _every_ site where we meet. It may be easy to concentrate on the occasional misfire, but remember, the Round Table Pizza on Saratoga eventually got to the point where they didn't like us taking their meeting room _every_ Monday. The one in Sunnyvale similarly didn't really want to block out _every_ Monday. Now I have don't really understand the business reasoning behind saying, "We'd rather retain the flexibility to book other groups now and then that might be bigger than yours instead of taking steady, weekly, repeat business on a night when we're normally almost empty," but hey, I've never run a restaurant; I've only been a restaurant employee.
