I counted 24 people when we came in. I don't recall anyone coming in
after us.

Whereas, the acting secretary had to ask for people to quiet down
several times, so he could hear people speaking. They had all hard
surfaces, so sound bounced around a lot. At times, it was difficult to
hear some of the softer-spoken individuals.

Agreed. We had the guy ready to take our order very quickly instead of
struggling to get the attention of the waitress to get our order taken
like we did at Hick'ry Pit.

Agreed. *Much* more gracefully without the excuses that we got at
Hick'ry Pit.

We had a green salad (uninteresting) and the garden pizza. We were not
particularly impressed by either. The pizza toppings were all from
containers, and none of them were fresh. I liked the crust of the
pizza, but I was disappointed with the toppings. We rated the pizza as
mediocre but not bad.

True, but it seemed rather high to some people.

Our check was a little less than what we had spent at Hick'ry Pit.

At this point, we would rate this as a second choice because of the
hard surfaces making it hard to hear people. Very good service. Okay
and tolerable food.

Until later--
