I got exactly one reply to my notice that I'd done something relevant to fandom. The person who so graciously congratulated me got to see the story eleven weeks early. I agree that the Prop 8 dispute, which I see as funded chiefly by the Funny Mental X-stains on the one hand and the Salivating Divorce Lawyers on the other, is relevant to the lives of various members. Am I therefore to be encouraged to rail against the fact that the Americans With Disabilities Act does not cover people with fibromyalgia, an incurable genetic illness which keeps me from holding a regular job, and has in fact lost me every one I have had? I have done so elsewhere. I have not done so here, because I supposed it had nothing to do with BASFA, notwithstanding that I am a part of it. If I am wrong in this judgement, please tell me so, and I will inform you of my troubles.
