If you know of genetic markers that have been discovered for fibromyalgia, I'm all ears. Everything I've read suggests that studies don't show number match-ups between incidences of FM in families and a genetic possibility. There's too much handwaving for me. That said, where this list is concerned, I'd be more interested in hearing about it in summary form in the meeting minutes. There certainly are family correlations, but there's no identified genetic component, just some inconclusive tested hypotheses. (And yes, I have read most of the articles at http://arthritis-research.com/series/ar_fibromyalgia) Now celiac disease, which I also have, most assuredly is genetic. -- _Deirdre blog: http://dsmoen.livejournal.com/ "Memes are a hoax!
