I will not discuss proposition 8 or the ill advised zeal of one of Siliconventions' board members.
I've issued a statment to the SiliCon list regarding the matter and I consider the case closed. Trey requests politics be kept off the lilst and out of the meetings. I totally agree. Monday night BASFA is my little island of siliness where I can enjoy other people's reviews, like interests and generally pleasent company. Our BoD meetings have always been on Mondays and no one from SiliCon is expecting others to make a hard desision on attending one or the other. I don't always make it to the board meetings and I don't aways make it to BASFA. The announcement of Siliconventions' two vacancies is not a request for help. Pam made an announcement, pure and simple. A position on the board is a serious responsiblity. Those interested will be carefully considered. Maurine Starkey
