This is a good example of one of the reasons we chose not to live in the
valley. We bought our home two years ago, when market prices were much
higher than they are now and for considerably less than this offer. They
have a 1400 sqft house on a 6,000 sqft lot. We have a 3500 sqft house on a
3/4 acre lot.

There are other factors too and some may not enjoy my commute (though I do),
but on the whole I recommend mountain life (and this from someone who grew
up in LA...).

Best,

Glenn
