Cancellation was received while they were filming what became the final episode (#13, "Alienville"). What _really_ killed it was yet another stupid, schizophrenic CBS scheduling move (for no good reason) from Friday nights to Tuesdays, which caused an immediate, sharp ratings slump as of the next episode aired, and the network then cancelled the series literally the next day. > If you have not seen it "4400" is worth watching however > it got cancelled before completion as well. One of the things that made it interesting was it was a rare case of a genuinely ensemble cast.
