Just a bit of clarification. What I suggested for Reno 2011 Worldcon was the possibility of getting the Raygun Gothic Rocket to Reno for display http://www.raygungothicrocket.com/ I suggest clicking on the Photos and Resources link to get to pictures. It is a neat unit and at about 40 feet tall would be an interesting visual. I went inside and the builders have done a great job. There was a huge fireworks and propane fire balls event around the rocket at Burning Man. Obviously this would not work for Reno however having the rocket available for display would be an interesting idea. And there have already been Worldcon at Burning Man bid parties but of course no one is is accepting pre-supporting memberships.
