Reviews:
[tall] Kevin reviewed the Hotel Cabana in Palo Alto as fancy-looking, a
remarkably comfortable hotel - but the $12 parking fee was not appreciated
& it would be a great place for a SMOFcon

Howeird reviewed 'Little Shop of Horrors' as it's been keeping him busy,
makes a great children's show ['they eat it up'] and he thinks it's a great
show

Diane reviewed books - 'Dead Space: Martyr' by BK Evenson as sf/horror and
highly recommended - & reviewed 'Overkill' and 'Undercurrents' - both by
Robert Buettner as parts of a series with good world-building and good
plots and she plans to buy the whole series, it's that good

Adrienne reviewed the season premeire of 'Orphan Black' as funny and good
and tense and Felix remains her favorite character

Ryan reviewed 'Transcendence' as really good, if predictable - worth seeing
at matinee
 prices

we did auctions

we adjourned at 9:12

and the rumor of the week was: 'the internet is for cats, pron &
conspiracies'
