Just a quick note to let everyone know that my friends and I have started
making significant progress clearing out the unit Academy Press did business
in. There are machines and supplies in it I don't intend to keep and will be
selling. Among the major items that need homes are:
Linotype Model 5 with accessories and literature
Linotype accessories and parts for various models
Linotype metal smelter with accessories
Epson daisywheel printer
light table
collator
saddle stitcher
folder
Velo-binder with accessories
moveable typegalley trays
front counter
shelves
paper
bookbinding cloth
a big collection of National Geographic magazines
some old industry catalogs
Please be advised that not everything in the shop is for sale. I am also
willing to barter some of the above items for help in moving the major items I
want to keep.
The garage sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 10,
2014 at 545 Aldo #6 in Santa Clara. Please feel free to pass this email on to
