Hello Again:
Mo has asked me to convey that she loves you all, and she deeply appreciates
the energy and good wishes you have been sending in her direction. Here's
where things stand:
(1) The doctors have drained her hematoma, but the infection, which has been
improving, is still a factor.
(2) Diabetes, diabetes, diabetes. And edema is causing burning pain in her
legs.
(3) Sleep apnea is an issue too.
(4) A physical therapist works with her daily, but her muscles really lost
strength while she was out.
Her healing process is underway, but it will take time and significant energy.
Mo has asked for NO VISITORS OR PHONE CALLS please. I can relay whatever
messages you have for her, as can her daughter, Macy. It's not that she's
depressed or shutting people out, but that she wants to direct her efforts
toward recovery. She is improving day by day. As of yet, the doctors have
determined no release date.
