established.
 
The minutes for meeting
1230 were accepted as BASFA selfie.
 
The Treasurer reported at
meeting 1228 we took $12.15 in the regular jar and $15.85 in the party. The
monies collected at 1229 still need to be retrieved from the President.
 
VP reports there's a new Drink Tank out. This ish supports Aurora
Celeste for DUFF. He'll also be skipping the next two meetings for Cinequest.

No proxy for the
President to say he has nothing fannish to report.
 
Kevin S. said we're going
to concentrate on the Retro Hugo nominations for work released in 1939.

Dave G. reports that
Detcon 1 has extended its young adult award nominations until March 7.
 
Lisa said Consonance is
this weekend.
 
Ric without a k has
started writing about Kickstarter projects of interest.
 
Jason said there will be
a general staff meeting for Convolution at the Burlingame Hyatt.
 
JC said NerdVana did its podcast at the
Retrodome showing of the Oscars.
 
Tom said that Fogcon will
be this weekend in Walnut Creek.
 
Diane said that IHOP is
offering free pancakes tomorrow.
 
I reminded everyone that
Chris Garcia will Bay Area Ghost Hunters' guest of honor at its meetup on March
22 at Flames Coffee Shop on Winchester.
 
Ken said that the managers
at the dome theaters gave their staffs notice. They'll be closing at the end of
March. The Retrodome will be active until then.
 
Dave C. has a copy of The Hunter, by Dashiell Hammett.
 
Bill tried out for a
Gilbert & Sullivan operetta.

JohnO's taiko group had
its show and he had fun.
     He also said his friend had a good time at the meeting last
week.
 
Tom read Astro Turf: the Private Life of Rocket
Science, by M.G. Lord, and said it was like it was written by a fan,
interesting and way kewl. Three thumbs up.
 
Dave C. said Robocop was cute, but not worth full
price.
 
Mo couldn't remember what
she wanted to review.
 
Diane said the Oscars at
the Retrodome were worth full price.
 
Yocannon loved the Physics of Star Trek, by Lawrence M.
Krauss. 
 
Aetheus said Light Car
was worth full price.
 
Chris G. said pork &
beans at First to Market is ambrosia.
