Their sister store The Escapist Comic Books may close if business doesn’t pick
up.

Harold(the Younger): Zeldathon raised $169,000. There will be an
AnyThingButZelda-Thom in September.

Reviews

Rebecca: Read Void Star by Zachary Mason. Don’t bother. Just read the last
couple paragraphs. Will be weary of book recommendations from Wired magazine.

DaveC:
eBay has tried to shift him to a new interface, but has managed to get put back
on the old one. The new one bites.
Saw WW. All that we said and more. Had added benefit of seeing it in 70mm at
the Grand Lake on $5 Tuesday!
Last night went to the Independent in SF (paid a scalper) to see Puddles Pity
Party. Wonderful! Finale was Come Sail Away & Let it Go. Worth scalpels prices.

Gayle:
Went to CampCon with Gerold. Writers mostly from Portland, Or. 4 days. Toast
marshmallows and write. The big boy tent was a bear to put up, but like a room
while up. The sleeping bags and Aero bed were worth full price. Enjoyed to
company. Mostly proofed one of Gerry’s story’s (Empress of Starlight)
Gerry followed on - Turned right at Weed through Bend. Ate at Black Bear Diner
in Madras. It was bearable...
Hugos: Most stories were Fantasy, but liked Game We Played During the War - may
be her top pick. John C Wright story below no award.

An auction was held.

Meeting adjourned at: 21:06 and the rumor of the week was: The Oxford comma
shall survive, prosper, and endure.
