The President was MIA with the Secretary. Sports Committee Sharks tickets are now sold out. Distribution will happen soon. Announcements Gayle She was at the Milpitas Library and saw that on Tuesday, October 30 at 7 pm, at the Great Mall Cinemark Theatres, the Milpitas Monster will be showing. DJ October 11-14 is the San Jose International Film Festival at the CineArts Theatre at Santana Row. Her film/video production class is volunteering to help out. Reviews Lisa Last Wednesday she went to Astronomy On Tap with other BASFAns, at Uproar Brewing. Uproar had good fresh beers and food. Great fun was had. The talks are always interesting, and her group almost won the trivia contest. Happens the last Wednesday of every other month. Find them on FaceBook. Vikas: This was the first Astronomy On Tap he helped to organize. There’s also a meetup group. Five BASFAns came to this one, hopefully more next time! JohnO He and Chris spent last week at Disneyland. Ran themselves ragged, and had fun. Late September is a good time to go - weather and crowds were manageable. Went to Halloween party - with people in onesies to store bought to homemade costumes. Lots of candy on the Trick-or-Treat. Expensive, but worth it. Stayed at the Anaheim Marriott. Service at the hotel was great. 20,000± steps/day for 3 days, and his knee survived… There were more things to auction The meeting adjourned at: 20:44, and the Rumor of the Week was: I like beer.
