Just noting that the person who reviewed "Spinning Silver" and "The
Pleasant Profession of Robert A. Heinlein" on March 18 was me, Dave
Wallace (DEW on the Basfa Hugo Recommendation List), not "Mark."

REVIEWS:
Mark reviewed 'Spinning Silver' by Naomi Novik, a new retelling of the
Rumpelstiltskin folk tale & that it is eligible for the Hugo -
interestingly written & recommended & he reviewed Farah Mendelsohn's book -
'The Pleasant Profession of Robert A Heinlein' as well-written &
well-sourced
Andy reviewed the Eurovision finals season as that some of the finalists
are definitely different & do sound interesting & also reviewed Ducktales,
specifically season 2, episode 7 - 'Whatever Happened to Della Duck' was
written by people obsessed with Duckberg, Disney stuff & obscure references
[like 'Nausicaa'] & was completely enjoyed; then [evil] Kevin followed,
saying that the musical score for the episode enhance it tremendously & he
recommends it
Lisa reviewed Influenza A as the worst ever and not covered in this year's
vaccine, reviewed Gallifrey One as fun, except for getting the flu there &
reviewed 'Captain Marvel' as great fun and a good movie
Ken also reviewed 'Captain Marvel' as '2 thumbs up' - there were also
comments that the cat was the best part
Gayle reviewed Pretty Yende at Opera at the Met as a phenomenal vocalist
who has an amazing range
Vinetta reviewed 'Green Book' as an excellent movie & recommended
We did an auction
we adjourned at 8:54
Rumor of the week was 'This is madness - No! This is BASFA!'
