Called to order at 8 pm 21 people attended we established a party jar The minutes of meeting 1496 were accepted as 'wrangled' the Treasurer reported that last week we took in $7.25 in the regular jar & $5.00 in the party jar the VP had nothing fannish to report the President said 'hi' to Max, visiting us for the first time & commented he is happy to have SJ Giants tickets now in-hand The Sports Committee reported that he is now distributing ticket for the May 4th BASFA outing to the SJ Giants Star Wars night game ANNOUNCEMENTS: Ken announced that 'Endgame' opens Thursday night & announced that he is now the full-time host on KFJC on Sundays noon till 3pm slot & on May 5 he'll be doing a special Delia Derbyshire themed show & announced that this Friday is the monthly meeting of the Legion of Rassilon at the Denny's on Bascom in Campbell at 7:30pm REVIEWS: Lisa reviewed BABScon 2019 as health reasons only let her attend on Friday, so she found the programming non-existent, but the parties were excellent & well-attended & there were lots of good fun; she recommends it & rates it worth full-price, or at least worth a 1-day membership Gayle reviewed the 2019 Space Access [http://ssi.org/space-access-2019/] as well-attended and well done; Diane found it fascinating and full of wonderful people & thought that Gerald was a gods-send, but she thought that the Fremont Marriott could have handled some things better Dave G reviewed Norwescon as quite decent Kennita reviewed 'Little' as a good concept for a movie, but not well-realized but still worth matinee Bill reviewed Toronto as a great place to spend time with good people & Carole commented that she likes the pretty pretty princess tiara movement We did an auction we adjourned at 8:46 Rumor of the week was 'This meeting - no rumor' -- ******************* She/whispered/'Oh/my/goodness/what/are/all/these/squirrels/doing/here?' melc...@gmail.com *******************
